| " I work out all the time" If you do a lot of weight training Belly dancing will work your muscles in a way they've never worked before. It will bring variety to your work out and increase flexibility. |

| "I'm too fat" No such thing. Belly dancing is all about moving a women's body - any body, weight doesn't matter. |

| " I don't exercise" That's a good thing. It means your body isn't trained to move in any particular way. You're like a blank slate - you'll pick up the moves a lot easier. |

| "I'm too old" Again, no such thing. I've seen belly dancers in their 70s+. |

| "My joints hurt ..." This is a low-impact workout that will help ease your hips, shoulders and other common joint problems. |

| "I take Yoga and/or Pilates regularly" You'll use a lot of training you've already had. This will put all of that training learning new skills |

| "I've taken Belly dancing" So you've already got the moves. In my classes you'll learn some new combinations and just have a good time working out to a variety of music. |

| Bottom line - This is a great workout for all women (and some men) no matter what your fitness level. There will be some benefit for you. |
