" I work out all the time" If you do a lot of weight training Belly dancing will
work your muscles in a way they've never worked before. It will bring variety to
your work out and increase flexibility.
"I'm too fat" No such thing. Belly dancing is all about moving a women's body
- any body, weight doesn't matter.
" I don't exercise"  That's a good thing. It means your body isn't trained to
move in any particular way. You're like a blank slate - you'll pick up the moves
a lot easier.
"I'm too old" Again, no such thing. I've seen belly dancers in their 70s+.
"My joints hurt ..." This is a low-impact workout that will help ease your hips,
shoulders and other common joint problems.
"I take Yoga and/or Pilates regularly" You'll use a lot of training you've
already had. This will put all of that training learning new skills
"I've taken Belly dancing" So you've already got the moves. In my
classes you'll learn some new combinations and just have a good time
working out to a variety of music.
Bottom line - This is a great workout
for all women (and some men) no
matter what your fitness level.
There will be some benefit for you.
